Roundtable 1-A

Building an International Honors Network

Irena van Nynatten-Janikowska
Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences/Hogeschool van Amsterdam

During this interactive session we will discuss possibilities of creating international network of honors students. We will get to know each other, share ideas about international challenges and benefits of connecting internationally. We will investigate the new ways of connecting internationally and choose the moment for follow-up. Are you interested in meeting honors students in Amsterdam/Netherlands? Would you like to be a member of the international network? Don’t miss this session.

Roundtable 1-B

Student Empowerment through Environmental Sustainability

Se'Donia Dudley, Sidney Martin
Hillsborough Community College

Join a discussion with two Honors students about recycling and food bank awareness. After reviewing campus practices as part of their Honors Leadership Project, accessible environmental resources led to success. This discussion can empower students in their college careers with knowledge on sustainable practices. It is essential we all collaborate to create a better environment for current and future generations.

Roundtable 1-C

Our Experience as a UNAI Fellow in the First Cohort at UNF

Kathryn Fox, Erin Ogrodnik
University of North Florida

We will be discussing our experiences with the UNAI Fellowship and what we would do to prepare future students for it and change in the program to be a better learning experience for those that are part of the program. We did our fellowship entirely online because of the pandemic, and that was very tough, especially as such a small group.
