Velmarie is a graduate of Florida International University, where she completed graduate degrees and has worked in multiple disciplines in higher education-Social Work, Sociology, and Anthropology. She provides oversight of the Dr. Floyd F. Koch Honors College at Palm Beach State College where she uses her skills in wise compassionate leadership to connect with honors students and others to help them navigate life with resilience as they thrive.
